The Supreme People’s Procuratorate (SPP), also known as the Prosecutor General’s Office, is the main agency in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) for prosecution and investigation. In recent years, much of the SPP's responsibilities and authority has been handed to the National Supervisory Commission (NSC).
